  1. Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (Sedfa)

    • Offers grants, business training and mentorship for youth entrepreneurs (typically 18–35).
  5. Technology Innovation Agency (TIA)
    • Supports technology-based innovation and commercialisation of research outcomes.
  6. Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC)
    • Administers multiple incentive schemes, grants and sector-focused support.
  7. Land Bank
    • Specialises in agriculture and agribusiness loans — land purchase, equipment, working capital.
  8. Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA)
    • Government-owned development finance institution for infrastructure and socio-economic projects.
  9. National Research Foundation (NRF)
    • Funds research projects and administration of government research grants (science, innovation etc.).
  10. Independent Development Trust (IDT)
    • Implements community development and government programmes (grants, employment initiatives).
